I know we’ve got a dress code but don’t see why I should care, people will be dazzled by my earrings and my hair,

It’s strange how they criticise, when they can do no better, and some of them, they’re just so mean, they even write a letter,
I can’t be doing anything wrong, ‘cos I’ve always done it like this (a tempo)they just look for any excuse, so they can boo and hiss
and I just get no applause,
